Share your experience and love of Iredell County Parks and facilities by submitting a photo in the Capture Iredell Parks photo contest. Photograph the fun and memories of your sports activities, the beauty of the nature and wildlife in the parks, and anything else that shows you enjoying your day at the park. Contest is open to photographers of all ages!
All photos must be submitted in a .PNG or .JPG format. Photos should be in highest resolution available with no watermarks or signatures on the image. Electronic file name must include entrant’s first initial, last name, category and number of submission (Ex: JDoeSportsandAction1.jpg). No print photo entries accepted. Limit 5 entries per person. Submissions must be accompanied with an entry form. ALL ENTRIES MUST BE SUBMITTED BY: JUNE 18, 2021. Email entries to Haley Joyner at email@example.com
Contest is open to both residents and non-residents of Iredell County. All photos must have been taken at an Iredell County park, facility, activity, or event. A list of our parks and facilities may be found HERE. All photos must be original work of the contestant and never been the subject of a copyright or previously published. ICPRD reserves the right to reject any entry deemed not suitable for consideration due to inappropriate content such as the use of profanity, nudity, drug, alcohol, tobacco use or cruelty to persons or animals.
Winners will be selected by a panel of staff members from the Iredell County Parks and Recreation Department. Photographers will be notified if selected by June 25, 2021. Winning photos will be chosen from each of the categories.
Photographers agree by entering contest to give permission to Iredell County Parks and Recreation to use their images in publications and/or on websites. All subjects pictured must consent to their portrayal in the photo.
