What's Happening with ICPRD?

Lakeside Yoga
Get out & enjoy the beauty of nature & some relaxation with us during Lakeside Yoga! Each Tuesday in October, Stumpy Creek Park's Boat Landing will turn into the most beautiful yoga studio! The session will take place from 9-10am & is FREE & open to the public with no pre-registration required. For more info, give us a call at 704-878-3103!

Fall Fun And Food Trucks
Join us for an afternoon of Fall fun on November 18th! The event will include kids games, activities, bounce houses, music, & food trucks! This event is FREE & open to the public. The event will take place from 11am-3pm at the Iredell County Fairgrounds. We can't wait to see you there!

Afterschool Program
We are excited to announce we will be beginning an afterschool program! The program is slated to kick off in January of 2024. We will be providing the service to students from Troutman Elementary on Monday, Wednesday, & Friday to begin with! Our staff will provide pick-up from Troutman Elementary to the Iredell County Recreation Center. The program will run until 5:30pm.

CORE Programs
We are happy to introduce a string of new programs that we will be offering consistently throughout the year called our CORE Programs. A handful of these programs will kick off in September so click the image to find out more about these new & exciting programs!

Jennings Park Closing For Construction
Jennings Park will be closed due to construction starting on July 1st, 2023. We expect the state of the art renovations to be completed by the summer of 2025! For more info, please call 704-878-3103.

Our Team
There are 16 full-time employees, over 100 part-time employees and volunteers, as well as an 11 member volunteer-based Recreation Advisory Board. We invite all residents to come and participate in our recreation programs. Come join the fun, the challenge awaits!
